Preschool Program for Four-Year-Olds

Four-year-olds are more independent, social, and ready for structured learning. Our Pre-K program nurtures academic readiness, creativity, and confidence while preparing children for Plano ISD expectations.

  • Language & Early Literacy – Letter recognition, phonics, vocabulary building, story comprehension, and early reading/writing activities.
  • Math Readiness – Number recognition, counting, simple addition/subtraction, patterns, sorting, and basic measurement.
  • Science & Exploration – Hands-on experiments, observation skills, weather and nature studies, and early scientific thinking.
  • Imaginative & Dramatic Play – Creativity, storytelling, cooperation, and problem-solving through guided play.
  • Art, Music & Movement – Multi-step crafts, rhythm activities, fine & gross motor development through creative expression.
  • Handwriting & Pre-Writing Skills – Name writing, tracing, correct pencil grip, and forming letters/numbers accurately.
  • Social Skills & Manners – Turn-taking, teamwork, polite language, emotional expression, and independence in routines.

Additionally, students are coached on building their self-help skills and developing personal independence to prepare them for the next level of education. Thus, a well rounded graduate from Learning Cube Academy enters Kindergarten with confidence and is prepared to learn and explore the world ahead!!!
